Cornish Yurts

We're home after a truly wonderful week at Cornish Yurts. Our yurt was perfect - comfortable futons for our beds, a cosy wood burner for the cooler evenings and an open campfire outside to toast our marshmallows before bed. A fabulous welcome bowl greeted us with delicious scones, jam and cornish clotted cream, cornish fairings, marshmallows and camping popcorn. As others have already said, Polly is so helpful. Nothing was any trouble and we felt completely relaxed. As well as Tregeague Farm being a perfect setting, the location was within easy reach of the wonderful Cornish coast - the perfect holiday and one we will remember for years to come.

Just got back from the most amazing week at the yurt. The yurt was lovely and cosy. Wood burner, a welcome pack including cream tea and marshmallows plus everything you could need. Polly was so helpful and welcoming and her children were lovely, we didn't see much of ours while staying there as they had the freedom of running around. Also saw the daily milking and again my children enjoyed this. I also got to treat myself to an all over body massage that Polly also does, would highly recommend this too!!! A great time was had by all of us and we will definitely be returning to the Yurts.

We found this website online after much searching for an available and reasonably priced campsite in Cornwall and could not have been more thrilled with what we found! Spent a fabulous 5 days on the farm and had an amazing time! The yurt was spacious, beautifully furnished and everything we could have asked for (right down to cream tea left out for us on arrival). Despite a few rainy days, we kept warm and dry thanks to the lovely woodburner. The luxury of having access to a kitchen, gas BBQ and al fresco dining area added to the relaxed stress-free feel of this holiday. Marshmallows on the campfire and a huge variety of games kept us entertained whilst on site, but whilst located in its own little hideaway, the location is close to so many wonderful places that it's a fabulous base for exploring the area. This was my first experience of 'glamping' and frankly I would be happy to live like this every day!! Polly and her family (including the loveliest dog in the world) were wonderful hosts - we'd recommend this site to anyone! Thank you!!!

Just got back from a magical holiday. the Yurt was everything we hoped for and the setting was idyllic. Polly could not have been more helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The children loved the freedom to run around and we wanted to bring the dog home with us! We will definitely be back, a really perfect holiday.

We had a wonderful time at the yurts and the children loved playing outside and making friends with the 3 very friendly dogs that were owned by Polly and AJ. Polly was a wonderful hostess and made the stay very comfortable for us. I would thoroughly recommend this holiday. Our children are still asking us about it and we will be going back!

We spent a week in the yurt during August with our friend and her children. This was a fantastic holiday. The yurt was cosy and warm. Having your own shower and washing machine was a luxury. Polly and her family were so friendly. We loved seeing and hearing the farm animals and seeing the fantastic stars at night in the clear sky, whilst sitting around the camp fire, it was so enjoyable. Even our 15 year old and her friend said it was a brilliant holiday! A holiday to suit young and old.

Fantastic venue- quiet rural location on a real old working dairy farm. Stunning coves and landscapes nearby. Polly and AJ were so welcoming and included us in their day to day lives. Our 4 and 5 year old haven't stopped talking about watching the cows being milked, collecting in the calves on a pick-up, going out on the tractor, and playing in the yard with the farm children. They loved it, we loved it. Yurts are cosy and warm too.Thank you Polly and AJ!
